Coursework:
Tom Hiddleston interviews
In these interviews I have selected one
female and one male interviewer to see if this has any effect on the way Tom
speaks and can be linked to the dominance theory, though in an interview I
intend to analyze the conversation looking for interruptions based on the
Zimmerman and West theory/findings. To also give a little more variation I have
chosen one interview held in LA and one in the UK to explore the way he uses
and varies his language due to him having such a variety of accents surrounding
him as stated in the background information.
Background
info:
Born in Westminster, London. His father is
from Greenock, Scotland and his mother is from Suffolk. Raised in Wimbledon in
his early years and oxford later.
Featured on BBC before getting into film
productions, the influence of American and Australian actors could have effect
on the dialect he uses.
